Privacy Policy

In short

Fieldwork Hours is operated by ABA Mastery (“we”, “us”). We collect what we need to run your fieldwork workspace: your account details and the records you choose to keep here. We don’t sell your data, we don’t show ads, and we don’t use analytics or tracking tools. Your records stay exportable and deletable.

1. What we collect

Account information. Your name and email address, your password as a one-way hash, and sign-in sessions. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from that provider.

Your fieldwork records. Hour entries, supervision experiences and sites, supervisor names and contact details you add, supervision contacts, calendar sessions, requirement settings, a history of corrections and removals for each entry, and documents you upload.

Waitlist sign-ups. If you join the waitlist, your email address and, optionally, your first name.

Operational data. Standard server logs, such as IP address, browser user-agent, and request times, used for security and troubleshooting.

Fieldwork Hours is not a client-record system. Please don’t enter client names, health information, or other details that could identify a client.

2. How we use it

To create and secure your account, save and display your records, calculate your progress summaries, produce the exports you request, and send account email: verification, password reset, and account-deletion confirmation. Waitlist addresses are used for early-access invitations, launch news, and the founding-member offer.

Requirement summaries are informational and are not a BACB eligibility determination.

3. Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the service:

• Hetzner hosts our servers and database in the United States (Oregon).
• Brevo delivers our email and stores the waitlist contact list.
• Google and Apple handle sign-in if you choose them, and Google Fonts serves the site’s typefaces, which shares your IP address with Google.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We don’t sell or rent personal information.

4. Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect your session. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

5. How long we keep it

Your records stay in your account until you remove them or delete your account. When you remove an entry, a copy stays in that entry’s correction history inside your account. Deleting your account removes your account and all of its records from our active database. Copies may remain in backups for a limited time until they are overwritten. Waitlist details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.

6. Your choices and rights

You can export your fieldwork record as CSV, Excel, or JSON at any time from Hours, correct entries yourself, and delete your account from Settings. Every waitlist email has an unsubscribe link. To ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion, or to exercise rights you have under the laws where you live, email privacy@abamastery.app.

7. Security

Passwords are stored as one-way Argon2id hashes. Supervisor details, site names, activity notes, and uploaded documents are encrypted before they’re stored. Connections use HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and avoid storing anything you aren’t permitted to keep.

8. Children

Fieldwork Hours is for adults working toward BCBA or BCaBA certification. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, email us and we’ll close it.

9. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we’ll update the date above. For material changes, we’ll notify account holders by email before they take effect.
